Sanjay Dutt remarries; Who’s the new bride?
Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt has remarried, leaving the internet in a tizzy because he is not divorced from his current wife.
Well, all speculators can rest easy. According to a report by the Times of India, Sanjay Dutt has remarried his current wife Manyata Dutt, and a video of the ceremony in a temple has gone viral, showing the couple engaged in Hindu rituals.
Following Hinduism, the bride and groom circumambulate the Agni (fire) during the wedding ceremony. Sanjay and Manyata also walked around the fire seven times.
The couple performed all the wedding rituals. Sanjay Dutt, 65, wore a saffron-colored dhoti and kurta with a tilak on his forehead, while his wife, Manyata Dutt (born Dilnawaz Shaikh), 46, wore a white shalwar kameez with her head covered by a dupatta.
Manyata also shared a photo of the wedding on her Instagram story.
Sanjay and Manyata first got married on February 7, 2008, and they later welcomed twins, a son named Shahran Dutt and a daughter named Iqra Dutt, on October 21, 2010.
Sanjay Dutt first for married in 1987 to Richa Sharma, who passed away from cancer in 1996. They have a 36-year-old daughter, Trishala Dutt.
Before marrying Manyata, Sanjay was married to air hostess-turned-model Rhea Pillai in February 1998, but they divorced in 2008.
