The upcoming World Boxing Championship in Lahore has taken an exciting turn with the announcement of actor Khushal Khan stepping into the ring to represent Pakistan.

He is known for his amazing roles in DuniyaPur, Mohabbat Gumshuda and Aik Hai Nigar. And now he will throw punches while carrying the flag. 

 

 

Set to take place in Lahore on January 25, the championship is a landmark event for Pakistan, featuring players from five countries, including Indonesia, Iran, Thailand, and France, competing in ten thrilling matches.  

 

Renowned boxer and World Youth Champion Usman Wazir shared his excitement about the event and confirmed that Khushhal Khan will face an Indonesian boxer in his match. 

 

 

 

Highlighting his undefeated streak of 14 fights, Wazir added, “Khushhal Khan is not just a promising actor but a formidable boxer who embodies the spirit of determination.” 

 

The Poppay Ke Wedding actor was inspired by Usman Wazir to pursue boxing, and expressed his gratitude for the same. 

 

 

 “It’s a dream to represent my country on such a platform,” Khushhal Khan said. His dual success in acting and sports is being celebrated by fans and fellow celebrities alike.

With Pakistan gearing up to host the World Boxing Championship, Khushhal Khan’s participation is a testament to the nation’s growing talent in both the entertainment and sports industries. 

 

Speaking to Channel 24, Khushhal Khan directly appealed to his fans and the public saying, “If people get excited, they’ll come to watch boxing, they’ll attend this event, and it will be promoted.My appeal isn't to any government, it's directly to the people, because they're the ones who matter to me, they're the ones who created me.”

 

Khushal Khan starred in drama such as, Qissa Meherbano Ka, Bebasi, Aik Hai Nigar, Mushhil, Wehshi, Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri, and currently he is starring in DuniyaPur and Yahya. He also done some web seires such as Midsummer Chao, Crossroad, and Barzakh.
