A few weeks back, fans were left pretty upset when Shahrukh Khan announced that he will not be doing films for a while after the failure of Zero. Media reports suggested that the actor was pretty shaken up with Zero’s failure because of which he even dropped out of two other films.
But now it looks like we might not have to wait too long to see the actor work his charm on the screen again. Indian media is abuzz with the news that that ace director Farah Khan is planning to make a remake of the superhit Satte Pe Satta and SRK has shown an interest in the film. The two have worked together on several projects in the past including Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om.
Quoting an insider, an Indian media publication stated, “Farah has bounced off the script to Shah Rukh and he is interested in it. The two share a great working relationship and have delivered hits like Main Hoon Naa and Happy New Year. He wants to make a strong comeback and nothing better than a masala entertainer.”
Reports also state that Katrina Kaif has been approached for the female lead.
We’ll have to wait and watch out for this one.
