Actor Sheheryar Munawar has heaped lavish prais on his wife, actress Maheen Siddiqui, saying that he realised over the past few months that he could only have married her.
During a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, Sheheryar Munawar called his wife “a wonderful person.” He said, “I’ve realized in the past few months that if I had to get married, it had to be with Maheen, or else it wouldn’t have happened at all.”
When Butt congratulated him on being married, Munawar said, “Alhamdulillah, it’s been good so far.” He said Siddiqui “manages to sort of handle me,” stressing that its “quite a big task.”
Munawar said that the biggest challenge in marriage is spending time with the same person every day. “I think the biggest thing is to be able to commit to seeing the same person 24 hours of the day or maybe not even, like 16 hours of the day,” he remarked.
Butt said that reality sinks in around the second week, when a person realises the spouse is staying. Munawar agreed. “Nobody tells you that there’ll be somebody around all the time,” he observed.
Munawar and Siddiqui married in December 2024.
Munawar currently stars in the smash hit drama Dar-e-Nijaat opposite Durefishan Saleem. He plays Abu Bakar in the serial, which Umera Ahmed wrote and Saqib Khan directed.
