Shiraz, Muskan heartbroken over Umer Shah’s sudden demise

Young and beloved child star Umer Shah passed away on Monday due to a sudden cardiovascular arrest, sending shockwaves across the nation and leaving a void in the hearts of millions.

 

Umer, known for his bright smile, infectious laughter and heartwarming appearances on popular shows like Jeeto Pakistan, was more than just a child star. His sudden passing has sparked an outpouring of love and sorrow from fans, celebrities and television personalities.

 

Among the most poignant tributes was that from Muhammad Shiraz, who had a number of times appeared alongside Umer on ARY shows. In a heartfelt video shared online with his younger sister Muskan, Shiraz was seen fighting back tears.

 

“When I came back from school, I heard the news… I got very sad. I still can’t believe he’s gone,” he said.

 

Muskan innocently asked, “Where did Umer go? Will he come back?” To which Shiraz gently replied, “He has gone to Allah and will not come back.”

Shiraz ended his video by sharing a touching moment from a Ramzan show where Umer expressed sadness over Shiraz leaving. The video served as a painful reminder of Umer’s playful nature and deep bonds with his friends.

 

“May Allah grant my beloved friend the highest rank in Jannah, a place of eternal peace, love and light. Your departure has left my heart broken, but I pray that you are embraced by Allah’s infinite mercy and surrounded by the beauty of paradise forever,” read the caption for the video.

 

Earlier, as the tragic news spread, condolences poured in from across the entertainment industry.

 

Pakistani superstar Humayun Saeed expressed his sorrow and said, “Sweet Little angel. Deepest condolences to Umer’s family. May Allah give them strength to bear this loss.”

 

 

Veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui shared heartwarming pictures with Umer and wrote, “I am shattered… He was a beam of light, joy and innocence on Jeeto Pakistan. Constantly running up with that big smile, always hugging everyone with that boundless energy… it feels impossible that he’s no longer with us.”

Actress Ushna Shah expressed her disbelief and sorrow, writing, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un – this is beyond heartbreaking. Prayers for his maghfirat and sabr for his family. He was the light of Jeeto Pakistan, always cheeky, always friendly and smiling. The way he’d say ‘sonaaa’ melted everyone’s hearts. I still can’t believe this.”

Popular morning show host Nida Yasir also prayed for Umer’s place in Jannah while superstar Mahira Khan shared a photo of Umer and wrote, “I don’t know what to say. A prayer of sabr for his family… May he be surrounded by light and peace.”

 

 

 

Singer Umair Jaswal said that he was “completely shattered” while actor Sami Khan posted “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un”.

 

 

 

Director and producer Shazia Wajahat mourned the loss and wrote, “Such devastating news. Allah sab bachon ko apni hifazat aur amaan mein rakhay. Ameen. Rest in peace little Umer.”

 

 

 

The sorrow was shared by numerous others including Aijaz Aslam, Areeba Habib, Ahsan Mohsin Ikram and members of the ARY Digital team, many of whom had worked with Umer and his siblings over the years.
