A young social media influencer was gang-raped at gunpoint in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore after two suspects lured her to a private flat under the pretense of a brand promotion.

 

According to reports, the victim was reached out to by one of the suspects through her social media profile. He asked her to visit a studio to record a promotional video and shared a location in DHA.

 

The influencer arrived at the location with a female friend, who also works in the same field. One of the suspects picked both women up in a car and drove them to a private flat where the second suspect was already waiting.

 

Inside the flat, both suspects held the women hostage at gunpoint and tortured them. They gang-raped the victim and threatened her and the friend with dire consequences if they reported the crime to police.

 

The victim filed a First Information Report (FIR) with Defence C police station, naming both suspects.

 

Police have registered a gang-rape case and attempts are being made for the arrest of the accused.
