Batting first, Multan Sultans' captain Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 105 runs, which included nine fours and five sixes. His efforts helped set a daunting target of 235 runs for the Karachi Kings.

 

However, the match took a dramatic turn when English batter James Vince stepped in with an explosive knock of 101 runs off just 43 balls, featuring 14 fours and four sixes. He not only turned the tide but also led his team to a stunning victory, snatching the win away from the Multan Sultans.
