South Korean singer and YouTuber Kim Dawood, who embraced Islam, has voiced his support for Pakistan after India launched attacks on at least six targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir early Wednesday morning.

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Kim compiled joyful highlights from his travels across Pakistan, showcasing the country’s natural beauty and warm hospitality. The video was accompanied by a powerful caption aimed at those who had discouraged him from visiting.

“This video is a befitting reply from me to those who used to stop me from going to Pakistan by saying that Pakistan is not a safe country,” he wrote.

He further added.“I always pray for the safety and protection of Pakistan.”

Kim Dawood’s post comes at a time when tensions have sharply escalated between Pakistan and India. On the night of the attacks, Indian forces targeted civilian areas in Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Muridke, and Ahmedpur Sharqia, resulting in the martyrdom of 26 civilians and injuries to 43 others, according to official sources.

In response, the Pakistan Army retaliated forcefully, destroying five Indian aircraft, one drone, an infantry brigade headquarters, and a battalion HQ of the Indian 6 Mahar Unit. Following the counterstrike, Indian troops were seen hoisting white flags at the Line of Control, signalling retreat and an unofficial admission of defeat.
