Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire, best known for playing Spider-Man, has officiated the wedding of his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer to businessman Geoffrey Ogunlesi.
Meyer, a 49-year-old jewellery designer, married Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi, at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii on Saturday.
The wedding took place less than a month after Maguire and Meyer finalised their divorce on September 21. The pair separated in 2016 after nine years of marriage and filed for divorce in 2020.
Several celebrities attended the ceremony, including Courteney Cox and Rachel Zoe. Leonardo DiCaprio arrived with girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos attended with his wife Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
Meyer and Ogunlesi also welcomed a baby daughter earlier this year. She announced the birth in June through an Instagram post celebrating Ogunlesi on Father’s Day.
All three of Meyer’s children, including her two children with Maguire, attended the wedding. The former couple share daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and son Otis Tobias, 17.
Meyer previously spoke about how her family maintained a close relationship despite her separation from Maguire. In an interview with an international media outlet in May, she said they continued to celebrate holidays, birthdays and travel together.
“[Maguire] is an incredible father. He is an incredible ex-husband. And Geoff loves him and he loves Geoff. And so everything just works,” she said.
