Singer Aima Baig has triggered a fresh round of speculation about her marriage after seemingly declaring herself single in a new Instagram post.
The singer, who married Rastah founder Zain Ahmad in August 2025, shared a set of photos showing off a new hairstyle and look. It was her caption, though, that immediately caught fans’ attention.
“Status: Single. Kthanksbyeeeee,” Baig wrote.
The short and pointed line reignited ongoing rumours about trouble in her marriage, with fans speculating that the couple may have separated. Baig did not mention divorce directly, nor did she offer any further details about her relationship with Ahmad.
This is not the first time the couple has faced separation rumours. Reports of tension first surfaced in October 2025, when fans noticed Ahmad had unfollowed Baig on Instagram and removed their wedding photos from his profile. He later clarified that the issue was due to a technical glitch and that the pictures had only been archived, not deleted.
The speculation resurfaced again in November, when Baig deactivated her Instagram account altogether while Ahmad’s remained active. She later returned to the platform and shared a video with her husband, appearing to put the rumours to rest at the time.
Baig’s latest post comes after several cryptic social media updates in recent months, which have kept the speculation alive. Last month, she revealed a painful facial injury in an Instagram update. Reflecting on difficult times, she wrote that people failing to show up during moments of vulnerability can be a major red flag.
“When people don’t show up in tough times, it makes you realise it’s a big red flag if they can’t stand with you in your moment of vulnerability and discomfort,” she wrote.
Baig also suggested that people who disappear during difficult periods may have only been present in someone’s life for their own reasons.
Neither Baig nor Ahmad has talked about separation. The couple has not issued a joint statement addressing the latest round of rumours.
