Tahajjud helped Resham overcome life’s struggles
Veteran actress Resham has opened up about the powerful role of spirituality in her life.
Recently, the actress appeared as a guest on ‘Meri Maa’ hosted by Noor Ul Hassan, where she talked about Tahajjud.
“In life, I have only prayed five times, but I have never cut off my connection with Allah, Alhamdulillah, however, 15 months ago, I started praying Tahajjud,” Resham said.
The Gunjal actress also talked about the challenges she has faced, including being betrayed by people she trusted. Despite the difficulties, she found comfort in her faith: “I meet my Allah during the last third of the night and talk to Him about significant matters. I never complain to Him, even though I have faced many struggles. Allah, who loves me more than seventy mothers, has lifted me up from my hardships and given me strength and courage.”
Resham reflected on the concept of loss, saying, “When I talk about mothers, I believe that if Allah takes something away from you, He compensates you. This is why we say ‘Inna Lillah.’The biggest blessing in my life has been my mother. She always said, ‘It’s Allah’s property; entrust it to Allah.’”
Resham believes that those who leave us do not truly go away they remain with us, often reminding us their presence, “Since I learned that those who leave this world still have their blessings and contributions, I continue to pray for my parents and my brother. I regularly offer charity in their name and pray that whatever good I do for humanity reaches my parents and my brother. I have come to understand that those who pass away still have a continuous charity through their good deeds, and I hope that my brother and my parents are pleased with me whenever I do something for them. I trust that Allah accepts it,” the Terha Aangan actress stated
