Tamasha Season 5 contestants Esra Ayesha Khan and Zayb Khan have tied the knot, sharing an album from their brief Nikah ceremony and a photoshoot on Instagram.
In the caption, they announced their union with a reference to Surah An-Naba (78:8) of the Quran: “And We created you in pairs.”
They continued, “Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah, I can’t believe how this has unfolded. Indeed Allah is the best planner. Thank you every single one of you for praying for us.” Zayb also wrote, “Allah has been kind for sending this piece of peace for me to earth. I love you, begum.”
Earlier, Zayb spoke about his bond with Esra following his unexpected elimination from the show. His exit left several contestants, including Esra, in shock, and her emotional reaction became a talking point among viewers.
In an Instagram Live session, Zayb said that he knew Esra was going through an emotional period after he left. He revealed that before leaving the house, he asked Hassan to look after her. “When I left the house, I asked Hassan to take care of her,” he said.
Tamasha, hosted by actor Adnan Siddiqui, brings celebrities together under one roof, where they take part in challenges and deal with conflicts inside the house.
Babrik Shah won season 5, with Esra Ayesha finishing as runner-up.
