Pakistani host Tauseeq Haider and actress Farah Saadia have reacted to rumours circulating on social media claiming that the two got married.

The pair addressed the speculation in a video message, saying that certain YouTubers spread the unfounded claim purely to chase views and create sensation.

Speaking in a lighthearted tone, Tauseeq Haider said, “So we’ve happily gotten married. We wanted to break this news to you ourselves, but unfortunately our so-called professional and very hardworking YouTubers already broke it first.”

He joked about waking up to the news himself. “When I woke up this morning, I found out I had already married Farah. The wedding picture was amazing too, I looked like a very handsome groom. They dressed us up as bride and groom,” he jokingly remarked.

Tauseeq then turned the moment into a light-hearted jab about compensation. “If you’ve made two lakh rupees off this news, at least send us fifty thousand as salami. After all, you’re earning this much because of us, so this could be a good business deal,” he pointed out.

He added that he has no regrets about staying single. “We’re happy with our lives. Being unmarried taught me that I shouldn’t get married, while Farah learned after marriage that it wasn’t right for her,” he said.

Farah Saadia also weighed in, saying she was taken aback when she first heard the news. “I was shocked when I heard this news. I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “They should send us salami too, because they’re running their channels by spreading false news about us. This isn’t appropriate behaviour.”

She pointed out that the rumours affect more than just the two of them. “We have families, children and parents. People ask us questions about this,” she stressed.

Farah urged content creators to act more responsibly. “Please show some responsibility. Focus more on your own lives instead of other people’s personal lives.”

Both clarified that despite the rumours, their relationship remains unchanged. “We are good friends and we will always remain friends,” they said.

Tauseeq Haider began his broadcasting career in 1987 as an English newscaster at Radio Pakistan and later became the first voice aired on the country’s FM radio in 1993. He currently hosts the morning show “Rising Pakistan” on PTV Home and founded the production house Black Box Sounds in 2005.

In recent years he has moved into acting, appearing in the Turkish drama “Koyu Beyaz” and Pakistani serials including “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” “Jafaa” and “Meem Se Mohabbat.”

Farah Saadia on the other hand started her career with PTV, gaining recognition for her role as Dil Baji in the drama serial “Bandhan.” She went on to host popular morning shows, including “A Morning With Farah” on ATV and later “Ek Nayee Subha With Farah” on A Plus, and has remained active as both an actress and television host.
