Three men arrested on charges of gang-raping woman in Lahore

Police in Lahore have arrested three men on suspicions of gang-raping a woman and are conducting raids to find another suspect. 

A girl had told the police that the Waseem Akram, Shahzad, Adnan and Arshad had raped her in a house in the city and warned her not to report the rape to the police. Police have arrested the first three while Arshad remains missing. 

A spokesperson told an English daily that one of the men had summoned the girl from Sahiwal and taken her to his relative's house. There, he called his accomplices and later gang-raped the girl. 

Police have filed a case against the suspects under section 375A (gang rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code, at Chung police station.
