Police have recovered the bodies of two men from a car parked inside the parking area of an apartment building in Karachi’s Sea View area on Wednesday.
According to the police, the bodies were found inside a vehicle parked in the building’s garage. Officials have said that both bodies were in an advanced stage of decomposition, indicating that the men may have been inside the car for several days.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Mahzoor Ali said that two pairs of slippers were also recovered from outside the vehicle.
Police said that the car was registered in the name of a woman identified as Tasleem Zahra.
The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital after evidence was collected from the scene.
One of the deceased was identified as 34-year-old Asadullah. According to initial findings, the two men may have died from suffocation. However, police said that the exact cause of death would be confirmed after post-mortem examinations.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
