Peshawar Zalmi outclassed Quetta Gladiators in the 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday night. A video clip from the match of spinner Usman Qadir, in which he dismissed batter Umar Akmal with a flighted delivery, got the attention of social media users where he celebrated in a unique style.

After taking his brother-in-law’s wicket, he took out a ‘parchi’ (white paper) from his pocket and waved it in the air. People were wondering what was written on it?

Later, Usman revealed that the piece of paper had this message written on it: “Allah is the biggest planner.”

Zalmi’s star from the batting end was Hussain Tallat, who had brilliant partnerships with Shoaib Malik and Ben Cutting. He posted 51 in 33 balls with the help of six fours and a six. Talat also grabbed a wicket in his two-over spell.

With his brilliant performance with the bat and the ball, Talat was given Player of the Match award.

Meanwhile, Will Smeed was the only one to fight out for Quetta as he kept scoring runs at one end and desperately watched others giving away their wickets. Smeed scored 99 off 60 balls.

Gladiators managed to reach 161 with the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs but that was not enough as Zalmi defended the total and won by 24 runs.
