A video circulating on social media shows Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan being confronted and heckled by a woman identifying herself as a party supporter.
The woman questioned Gohar on why he was not standing with the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan. When Gohar responded that he was going to see them, the supporter asked, “Are you going now?”
Gohar replied that he was going to meet them for important work, to which the woman requested, “Take us along too”. Gohar refused, asking why she wanted to go with him, prompting the woman to clarify that they would follow in their own car.
The interaction turned tense when Gohar suggested that the woman was recording the encounter for social media clout. “Madam, your TikTok for today is done, you’ve become a big star now,” Gohar remarked.

The woman dismissed the comment, identifying herself as “a supporter, a voter, a Pakistani.” She also criticized the media during the interaction “They are so-called reporters who just come and ask pointless questions. Social media is very bad, you don’t know what it’s like”.
Gohar defended the media’s role, but the supporter insisted they only report what the leadership wants.
The confrontation escalated when Gohar told the woman, “I don’t talk to women,” which drew a sharp retort from the supporter who told him not to center the issue on gender.
The footage has divided digital opinion among party supporters. One user praised Gohar’s patience, stating, “Salute to Barrister Gohar Sahib’s forbearance, patience, and endurance, this woman not only behaved rudely toward him but also harassed him”.
Another user defended the chairman’s character, calling him a “highly decent and mild-mannered individual” who responded with respect.
However, many others defended the woman’s right to question the leadership. One reaction stated, “She said and did nothing wrong. He lied through his teeth that he is going to join IK’s sisters outside Adiala”.
Another commenter argued that the leadership must be active, saying, “They’re answerable and be seen by the world in their act. She did absolutely right to embarrass him”.
Critics of the woman’s approach suggested the video only serves to show internal rifts. One user commented that “embarrassing your own party leadership is not serving #PTI”.
Another person disagreed, saying, “If they can’t question their own party how can they question others?”
The incident highlights growing tension in the party’s current strategy. While some view the encounter as “height of decency” being met with “harassment,” others insist that voters who gave their mandate have the right to ask why the leadership is not standing with the founder’s family.
