Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Hamza Shehbaz on Wednesday sought a report from Inspector-General (IG) Punjab after former MPA Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Baloch was attacked in Jhang.
A video that surfaced on social media showed that he was beaten, his clothes were torn and abuses were being hurled at him.
After the video went viral, Hamza directed the IG Punjab to arrest those involved in the incident.
The police said that under the direction of the chief minister, a team has been formed to arrest those people who attacked the former MPA.
