Indian singer Mickey Singh made a surprise appearance at Pakistani pop star Asim Azhar’s live show in Atlanta, sending fans into a frenzy and getting social media buzzing across both sides of the border.

A video that spread rapidly online captured the moment Asim and Mickey shared the stage, with the two singing “Mera Kaliyan Dil Nai Lagda” together before breaking into a Punjabi number that had the crowd on their feet.

The clip racked up views quickly, with fans flooding the comments.

“Asim Azhar and Mickey Singh in Atlanta performing together, the videos look soo much funnnn,” one fan wrote. Others kept it short: “bruh…. why am i not there,” and “AsimxMickey… what a show.”

The Atlanta show was part of Asim’s ongoing Asim Ali: The Album Tour 2026, which kicked off in April and takes him across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with stops in cities including Houston, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and San Francisco.

The Atlanta date took place at The Loft on April 26. The tour is built around his 2025 debut album Asim Ali, drawning strong crowds and warm reviews at each stop. Azhar first broke through on Coke Studio in 2015, becoming the youngest musician to appear on the show. He has since become one of Pakistan’s most recognisable pop voices, with hits including “Tera Woh Pyar,” “Ghalat Fehmi,” and “Jo Tu Na Mila” to his name.

Mickey Singh, for his part, is no stranger to cross-border music. His music first came to light in 2012 with a Punjabi remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake,” and his 2013 mixtape Mickstape, which featured contributions from Asim Azhar among others, won acclaim for its mix of hip-hop and bhangra. He won Best North American Act at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards in 2015, and has worked with artists ranging from Diljit Dosanjh to Badshah over the years.
