Six unidentified armed robbers on two motorcycles looted Rs15.6 million from the staff of a Korean seafood export company near Keamari Fish Harbour, a video clip circulating on social media shows.
The incident took place after the company’s staff withdrew the money from a nearby bank.

According to media reports, as the vehicle carrying the cash reached close to the company’s gate, the robbers intercepted it at gunpoint and snatched the bag containing the money. The armed men also disarmed a security guard who was accompanying the staff and fled the scene.
Police officials said the security guard did not resist during the robbery, and both he and the company’s accountant have been taken into custody for questioning.
SSP Keamari Captain (retd) Faizan Ali confirmed that CCTV footage of the incident has been obtained along with other evidence. SHO Docks Nand Lal stated that, as per the company’s statement, the looted cash was to be distributed among employees as bonuses.
