TikToker Kashif Zameer has been booked for allegedly cheating a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer out of Rs1.9 million by promising to send him abroad illegally.
According to reports, police said Zameer collected the money from CTD officer Dost Muhammad in exchange for arranging a visa to Italy.
A case has been registered against the TikToker at Thana Gulberg on the complaint of Dost Muhammad, who is posted at CTD Karachi.
This is not the first time Zameer has run into trouble with the law. Last year, the Crime Control Department (CCD) arrested him along with 13 armed guards from the Iqbal Town area of Lahore.
Authorities took him into custody after videos went viral on social media showing his private armed guards openly displaying weapons in public.
Zameer later issued a video statement in which he admitted to wrongdoing and apologised to the public.
