West Indies’ Jason Holder out of T20 World Cup
West Indies veteran player Jason Holder has been ruled out of International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024 due to injury.
According to ICC, the squad for the T20 World Cup has been announced by West Indies and left-arm fast bowler Obed McCoy has been included in the squad in place of Jason Holder.
Holder suffered an injury during the County Championship 2024 and needs time to recover.
Obed McCoy was the highest wicket-taker during West Indies’s recent tour of Nepal, taking eight wickets in five matches.
