Actor Yashma Gill has poked fun at Hania Aamir after an Indian social media page claimed that the latter had gotten married to her cousin.
The page shared detailed claims about a supposed wedding, stating, “Pakistani cinema’s darling Hania Aamir has sparked a social media storm by marrying her first cousin, 30, in an opulent three-day affair at Lahore’s historic Shalimar Gardens.”
The page went on to claim that the ceremony was attended by A-listers like Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, and that Hania wore a Zaha Hadid-inspired lehenga embroidered with 5,000 Swarovski crystals.
With the claims spreading online like wildfire, Yashma Gill responded to the viral post and jokingly said, “Mujeh bhe nahe bataya bro [Bro, you didn’t even tell me?] .”
While there is no confirmation regarding any of the claims and Gill, who is known to be Aamir’s close friend, poking fun pretty much rubbishes the same, speculation about Aamir’s personal life is never not ongoing.
Reports have repeatedly linked her with singer Asim Azhar, and some have gone on to claim the two could be tying the knot this year.
However, neither Aamir nor Azhar has confirmed the relationship or wedding plans.
