Indian stand-up comedian Sundeep Bhardwaj has been the target of Israeli trolls after he joked about the country. Since then, the stand up comedian has become a vocal advocate for Gaza and Palestine, using humour to highlight Israeli atrocities.
In a recent Instagram video, he responded to an Israeli trolls, sparking a debate about travel restrictions.
The exchange began when Instagram user Roie Liven commented on a post, saying, “Well, you are in the Maldives so you are full of sh*t. Israelis aren't allowed to enter Maldives or other Muslim countries way before October 7. The funny part is that you can go to Israel, and eat and enjoy. I can't go to Morocco, as I will either be denied entrance or killed by Islam. So again, Israelis aren't allowed into the Maldives, from like 1997 or something, so you are full of sh*t again."
Bhardwaj, known for his sharp wit and bold commentary, didn’t hold back in his response. The comedian sarcastically addressed the comment, stating:
"You are full of sh*t. Israelis are not allowed to enter the Maldives. Oh no, you are not allowed in the Maldives? Maybe you should stop killing people all around the world. Maybe that will help. But, one more reason to love the Maldives."
He added, “The problem is that Israelis always have a second passport. Or actually, a first passport. So they can travel to a lot of places where they shouldn't be allowed to. So who's full of sh*t now, huh?”
Bhardwaj ended his roast with a cutting remark: "Oh, one more thing. I think you misspelled Occupied Palestine as Israel or something."
Shine on, Sundeep, you're doing an excellent job.
