Zain Hamid has confirmed his divorce from Pakistani actor Nimra Khan amid weeks of separation rumours on social media, just three months after they got married.
Nimra Khan married Zain Hamid in May 2026. Reports of differences between the couple had circulated online for some time, fuelled by cryptic posts from both sides and speculation among fans.
At the time, Nimra denied the rumours, stating that married life was going well. She also removed her wedding pictures from social media, citing concerns about evil eye.
Zain Hamid confirmed the divorce in a statement posted on Instagram. He said the couple separated on July 17 due to personal differences and differing priorities, stressing that he did not want the statement to place blame on either side. He added that legal proceedings had already begun and that the matter had been handed over to lawyers.
He described the separation as mutually agreed upon, emphasising that such circumstances are equally difficult for both partners.
He also addressed an earlier social media post that he had put up that had fuelled speculation, explaining that it was a response to posts he felt were seeking unnecessary attention rather than a direct reference to the marriage. He ended his statement by wishing Nimra Khan well for the future.
This marks Nimra Khan’s second divorce. Her first marriage took place in 2020 and also ended within a relatively short period.
Nimra Khan is one of Pakistani television’s most followed actors, known for serials including Aye Musht-e-Khaak, Ehraam-e-Junoon and Umm-e-Ayesha.
