During a talk show, Zara shared her views, saying, "The Pakistani showbiz industry is so small that it should be called a community rather than an industry."

She further criticised the industry, stating, "Here, four people sit together and decide to make a drama. A real industry is one where artists are respected, and their work is appreciated."

However, the show’s host, actor Danish Taimoor, disagreed with her comments. Defending the industry, he said, "Despite being small, this industry has grown significantly over the past few years."

The video of their exchange has gone viral on social media, sparking a heated debate. Many users have slammed Zara for her remarks, criticising her for questioning the industry's credibility.

Some fans of Pakistani dramas even took direct digs at the actress, saying, "She herself is not a good actress."
