Saad Jahangir Manj, an 11-year-old chess prodigy from Pakistan, has made history by becoming the first player from the country to earn the Arena International Master (AIM) title in chess.
The achievement drew widespread praise from officials and the Pakistan Sports Board(PSB) which called it “a proud moment for Pakistan.”
Punjab Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar congratulated Saad on the milestone and said his success serves as an inspiration for young players across the country.

“Saad Jahangir Manj’s achievement is a shining example for young players. Efforts to promote chess and all other sports will continue,” he said.
The Board also shared the news on its official channels, describing it as “an inspiring achievement for youth across the nation.”
