In 2006, Brie landed her first major role as a supporting cast member in the Disney sitcom Hannah Montana. It helped her career and garnered praise from critics and a Critics' Choice Award nomination.

Later on, Alison Brie was asked during an appearance on Watch What Happens to Live with Andy Cohen what her favorite moment from the wedding was. "Probably our wedding vows," she said. "Because we wrote our own and didn't know what the other would say."
"I'm trying to remember how they all felt very sweet from the whole lot of it," she said. "It's funny to hear them out loud, and you feel like, 'We said all the same things that we want to be for each other.' That was very sweet."
