PakWheels co-founder Suneel Munj has triggered an avalanche of online trolling after launching a promotional giveaway of FIFA 2026 World Cup football replicas with his autograph to anyone who spends more than Rs20,000 at a PakWheels Service Centre.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Munj announced a new offer designed to tap into global football fever. According to the announcement, customers who spend Rs20,000 or more on any maintenance service or product purchase at a PakWheels Service Center will receive a football signed by Munj himself.

“If you want a football signed by me, go to any PakWheels Service Center, spend Rs20,000, use any service and win this football without any contest,” Munj said in the video while filming himself signing a stack of footballs one by one.

The internet responded with immediate mockery. The comment section turned into an arena of sharp public roasts, with users heavily targeting the logic behind using a car tech executive’s signature as a premium incentive.

A massive portion of the trolling centred on comparing the auto entrepreneur to global football legends in the most sarcastic way possible.

Commenters immediately renamed him “Cristiano Suneel Munj” and “Rona-daldo Munj” while others asked, “Are you Ronaldo? Messi? Who exactly are you? Why would anyone spend Rs20,000 just to get your signed football?”

One user asked whether he was “Messi or messy” while another shared a satirical fact claiming, “Suneel Munj is the son of Messi’s maternal aunt. Very few people know this fact.” Another comment noted, “You need to be a different kind of narcissist to make this video.”

The public scrutiny of his celebrity status continued with users asking, “When did you become so important?” and “May I ask who are you dear?”

Others offered a reality check regarding his online presence, stating, “He might be a good entrepreneur with reasonable digital followers but what he is thinking with football souvenirs is fully insane.”

The Rs20,000 spending threshold became the main punchline, with many car owners begging for a way out of the incentive. “Can I get the unsigned one?” asked one individual, while another countered, “I will definitely take one lakh worth of services, but please give me the unsigned one.”

One user said he’ll make sure to keep his tab under Rs20,000.

The comparisons even took a political turn, with a commenter asking, “Which is worst? Shehbaz Sharif maintaining oil prices or Suneel Munj signing footballs?” in reference to unchanged fuel prices in the government’s weekly review of the same.

While most people treated the video as “How to make a joke out of yourself 101”, a small minority attempted to defend the campaign as a standard business move.

One user remarked that Rs20,000 is not a big amount for car owners usually, adding, “It is good that Suneel Munj and PakWheels will give souvenirs to valued clients. It is called marketing strategy.”
