Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh told a fan from Lahore that he loves everyone equally, even those who criticise him.
During a recent Instagram Live session, a Pakistani user commented, “Love from Lahore.” Diljit replied, “There is love for everyone from my side too. Even if people abuse me, I have nothing but love for you.”
He then explained how he sees people. “I consider everyone as one, although some people don’t agree with this,” he said. He added that he does not worry about people’s opinions about him. “If you like me, that’s fine, and if you don’t, that’s fine too.”
Diljit said he does not feel the need to defend himself. He ended his reply with a message for the fan: “But if you’re talking about love, then there is a lot of love from my side.”
Lahore has come up in his Instagram Lives before. In July, a fan asked him to visit the city, and he replied, “If I come to Lahore, they won’t let me go anywhere.” He said that politics is the real obstacle.
The Instagram Live comes in the middle of a busy year for the Punjabi singer and actor. His Aura World Tour began in November 2025 with shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and the North American leg followed in 2026. That 15-date leg sold more than 225,000 tickets and earned more than $32 million, a record for a Punjabi artist in North America.
On September 12, Diljit played a sold-out show at London’s Wembley Stadium, which holds 90,000 people. He became the first Punjabi artist to headline the venue.
