Hajj 2025: First group of Pilgrims to fly from Islamabad tonight
The Hajj operation is set to commence tonight, April 28, from Islamabad International Airport.
According to Airport Manager Aftab Gillani, the first Hajj flight is scheduled to depart for Madinah later tonight. A special ceremony has also been planned at the airport to mark the occasion.
Gillani stated that under the "Road to Makkah" initiative, seven dedicated immigration counters have been set up to facilitate pilgrims. He confirmed that all preparations at Islamabad International Airport have been finalised to ensure the smooth handling of Hajj operations.
The pilgrims will be transported through 100 scheduled flights.
