Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali has set a new world record in T20 cricket during a Vitality Blast match against Leicestershire.
Hasan took four wickets in the match to surpass the milestone of 350 T20 wickets in the fewest matches ever, achieving the feat in just 243 games.
In doing so, he broke the record previously held by Afghan spinner Rashid Khan, who had reached 350 T20 wickets in 251 matches.
In international cricket, Hasan has represented Pakistan in 57 T20Is, taking 72 wickets at an average of 23.31, with a best of 5/30.
His last appearance for Pakistan in the format came against UAE in Sharjah on August 30, 2025.
Hasan was named the best bowler at the 2017 Champions Trophy.
