Actor Ali Abbas while talking to a digital media portal has said that when casting is done on the basis of popularity, talent gets left behind. “This is an era of social media where having followers is a necessity. But if people are being cast on the basis of their followers, it is necessary to check how many of them are original” said the Fitoor.
“We all know some people have bought followers and companies sell them as well so it would be unfair to not differentiate between organic and fake followers. Also, when casting is done on the basis of popularity, talent gets left behind,” he added.
On the work front, Ali can be seen currently in Geo’s drama Dour opposite Hina Altaf.
