Hira Soomro scolds program host on live TV for being late

A video of actress Hira Soomro confronting TV host Muhammad Shoaib for arriving late to a recording has gone viral, sparking debate among social media users.

Hira Soomro recently appeared on Pakistan Television (PTV)’s show Rising Star, where she discussed various topics, including her career. However, a particular clip from the program caught public attention, showing her visibly upset with the host for his late arrival.

In the viral video, Hira Soomro can be seen reprimanding Muhammad Shoaib, stating, "Apologizing won’t bring back the wasted time." She further criticized the unprofessionalism of the situation, saying, "It’s not right that the guests arrive, but the host doesn’t."

Throughout the exchange, Muhammad Shoaib repeatedly apologized, admitting that he was late and had already apologized in the makeup room. The program's co-host also attempted to smoothe over the confrontation, reminding Hira that the show was being broadcast live.

The viral video has received mixed reactions. While some social media users praised Hira for highlighting the importance of punctuality, others speculated that the moment was scripted. 

Some even labeled her a “drama queen” and compared her to actress Meera.

Regardless of differing opinions, the clip has sparked a conversation about professionalism and time management in the entertainment industry.
