Fast and Furious fans were left shocked and concerned when American actor and film producer Vin Diesel shared an update of the highly anticipated Fast X: Part 2. 

 

Vin Diesel took to Instagram to detail the challenges he faces during the production, leaving many wondering about the future of the franchise.

 

 

 In a Thanksgiving post, Diesel expressed the pressures he feels with the sequel.

 

 

“I got universal in one ear saying we need FastX2 by March 2026! I have Comcast in the other ear saying we need two movies to be the Finale! Then the writer on Fast Five sent me this image and said we need to see DOM and HOBBS resolve their differences," Diesel wrote.

 

 

Vin Diesel also expressed his desire to bring the franchise back to its roots, focusing on street racing practical stunts, and reuniting the iconic brotherhood.

 

 

 “I just want to get back to real street racing, practical stunts… and a reunion of that beautiful brotherhood. Happy Thanksgiving," he wrote. 

 

 

In spite of these challenges, Fast X has earned $704 million worldwide, setting new records for the franchise. As the 25th anniversary of Fast and Furious nears in 2026, fans are eagerly waiting for more news about the next chapter of the action packed saga.

 
Earlier, last year 2023, Action star Vin Diesel has been accused of sexually assaulting his assistant in an Atlanta hotel room over a decade ago, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday.

 

 The suit is the latest claim to be lodged with courts in California, which has extended the length of time in which legal action can be taken in cases of alleged sexual crimes.

 

 Asta Jonasson said her first assignment after being hired by the Fast and Furious star’s company was to travel to Atlanta in September 2010 during the filming of Fast Five. There, she was tasked with helping Diesel leave a hotel in the early morning hours after entertaining multiple women in a suite, before paparazzi were alerted to his whereabouts.

 

“Alone in the hotel suite with him, Vin Diesel sexually assaulted Ms Jonasson. Vin Diesel forcibly grabbed Ms Jonasson, groped her breasts, and kissed her. Ms Jonasson struggled continually to break free of his grasp, while repeatedly saying no. “Vin Diesel then escalated his assault,” the suit said, with the actor trying to pull down his assistant’s underwear.
