'Life is in God's hands'; Salman Khan remains defiant on death threats
Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been a repeat target of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has finally spoken about the death threats he continues to receive.
During a recent event for his upcoming Eid release Sikandar, Khan addressed the threats, saying, “Life is in God's hands. Whatever is written, will happen.”
He talked about the challenges of moving around with heavy security, saying, “Sometimes, taking so many people along becomes a problem.”
Last year, gunmen linked to the Bishnoi gang fired outside Khan’s Mumbai residence, with one bullet hitting his balcony. The Mumbai police later uncovered a plot to attack him on his way to his farmhouse.
Khan has reportedly received multiple threats and extortion messages, with Bishnoi demanding an apology for the infamous blackbuck hunting incident that happened in 1998.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s coming blockbuster Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is set for release on March 30, featuring an ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal.
