Model and actress Nadia Hussain has finally spoken out after her husband was arrested in connection with a high-profile financial scam.

On March 12, she shared a video statement on Instagram, revealing chats and an audio recording of a caller who falsely claimed to be an FIA officer.

According to Nadia, the fraudster demanded a bribe of Rs 30 million for her husband's bail.

She claimed, "An FIA officer had demanded a huge bribe for my husband's release, who was arrested on charges of financial fraud."

Screenshots of the conversation showed the fraudster telling her, "Your husband, Atif Muhammad Khan, has settled all matters. You should transfer the money." The caller also attempted to intimidate her and warned, "This matter should remain between you and me."

In her video statement, Nadia addressed the situation directly: "Many of you were waiting for my reaction to my husband's arrest by the FIA in a fraud case. It is true that my husband is currently in FIA custody, but only for investigation. If I talk about the case, were the security guards sleeping that such a big fraud happened under their noses?"

Speaking about her husband's involvement, she said, "Now, how much my husband is involved in this—whether he is or not—time and the court will decide. I am silent because of my lawyers. My husband is in custody but is very calm. The FIA is taking care of him, and he is safe there."
