Are your relatives coming from abroad? Or are you planning to go? If you are, then you should know that the Airport Security Force (ASF) has decided to limit the number of visitors coming along with passengers.

The decision has been taken keeping in mind security concerns and the fact that Hajj flight operations are currently underway. In most cases, families in large numbers come to see off or receive Hajj passengers.

Officials of the ASF informed the public that only one family member or a friend would be allowed to receive or see off passengers at Jinnah International Terminal, Karachi and Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. They also said that the step was being taken to limit crowds at the airport and to prevent security breaches.

Earlier this month two people were gunned down at the Lahore airport’s international arrival gate.
