The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the schedule for Pakistan’s upcoming five-match ODI series against England, confirming that the fixtures will run from May 15 to 26, 2027.
The series is set to serve as important preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup later that year.
The series will open in Southampton on Saturday, May 15. The action then moves to Manchester for the second ODI on May 19, before shifting to Leeds for the third match on May 21. The fourth ODI will be played in Chester-le-Street on May 23, and the series will conclude in Cardiff on May 26.
The ODI series comes after a three-match Test series between Pakistan and England, scheduled from August 19 to September 13 this year.
Pakistan are currently on tour in the West Indies, where they are playing a two-match Test series.
Both tours form part of Pakistan’s build-up to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, which South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will jointly host from October 4 to November 21. The five ODIs against England will give both sides a chance to test their combinations and strategies before the tournament gets underway.
Pakistan currently sits fifth in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, while England occupy seventh place.
The last time Pakistan toured England for an ODI series was in 2021. Babar Azam was the standout performer for Pakistan on that tour, scoring 177 runs across the three matches, including an innings of 158 in the third ODI.
