Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member T20 squad for the 2026 Asian Games, handing the captaincy to Sahibzada Farhan with Abdul Samad as vice captain.
The men’s T20 International competition at the Asian Games runs from September 24 in Aichi, Japan.
Sahibzada Farhan, 30, brings considerable T20I experience to the role, having scored 1,305 runs in 46 matches for Pakistan, including two centuries and 10 half-centuries.
Four players, Akif Javed, Ali Raza, Muaz Sadaqat and Saad Masood, stand in line for their first T20 International caps.
Fourteen of the 15 squad members will also join a white-ball camp starting June 15 in Lahore.
