The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has reaffirmed the provisional affiliation of the Pakistan Padel Federation, which Jahangir Khan and Mansoor Ali Khan lead.

As per the notification, dated November 4, 2026, the PSB Board passed the decision through circulation on October 28 under Rule 6(10) of the PSB Constitution, 2022.

The board considered the report and recommendations of its sub-committee before reaffirming its earlier decision of March 31, 2026, which granted the federation provisional affiliation.

The PSB sent the notification to Jahangir Khan, the federation’s president, in Karachi. The letter also directs the federation to comply with all applicable PSB requirements.

Two rival groups have claimed to be the governing body for padel in Pakistan, and the PSB has been reviewing the dispute. In April, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) started an inquiry into one such group.

Padel, a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, has grown steadily in popularity in Pakistan over the past decade, especially among young people and expatriate communities.
