Pakistan’s Sana Bahadur has claimed the first Professional Squash Association (PSA) title of her career after winning the Challenger 3K Bendigo Open 2026 in Melbourne, Australia.
Bahadur, a 20-year-old player from Peshawar, defeated Australia’s Rachael Grinham 3-1 in the final. Grinham, a former world No. 1, held a significant ranking advantage going into the match, but Bahadur’s performance proved decisive across the four games.
The Pakistan Squash Federation congratulated Bahadur on the achievement in a statement. “A fantastic achievement and another proud moment for Pakistan Squash on the international stage. Well done Sana! Keep making Pakistan proud,” the federation said.
The Bendigo Open carried a total prize purse of $3,000 and featured players from across the PSA Challenger circuit.
The tournament ran from August 13 to 16 at the Bendigo Squash Centre.
