Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the price of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 as pre-orders go live on June 25, ending years of speculation about how much the most anticipated game in history would cost.
The standard edition will retail at $79.99 (approximately PKR 22,200) while the Ultimate Edition is priced at $99.99 (approximately PKR 27,800).
The game launches on November 19, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The standard edition is available in both physical and digital formats. The physical version, however, contains a download code inside the box instead of a disc.
Anyone who pre-orders before November 20, will also receive the Vintage Vice City Pack as a bonus, which includes a classic ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan with an Ocean Beach garage, vintage outfits and hairstyles for both playable characters Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s iconic tropical shirt.
The Ultimate Edition, on the other hand, is digital only with bonus including a ’95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, his-and-hers Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers with palm-tree-etched grips, personalized engraved sidearms for both Jason and Lucia, a ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy stored at the Paradise Garage, a Shitzu Squalo watercraft, exclusive outfits, tattoos and hairstyles, access to the Rideout Customs mod shop and access to Sara’s Unisex Salon.
All content unlocks gradually as you progress through the campaign. Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately at any time after launch.
While digital pre-orders can begin pre-loading on November 12, a week before launch, at $79.99, GTA 6 becomes only the second game to launch at that price point after Mario Kart World for the Nintendo Switch 2, breaking the $70 ceiling that had been the standard for current-generation console releases.
