Three sisters gunned down in revenge murders

The chilling murder of three sisters in Dera Ismail Khan has sent shockwaves across the country, leaving residents gripped with fear.

The incident took place in the Ramak area of Tehsil Proa, where unidentified gunmen opened fire on the three young women, killing them on the spot.

Local police have said that the incident seems to be a continuation of a prior personal dispute.

The sisters were said to have participated in the killing of a lady who was the sister of a man named Haroon a few months prior.

The sisters had been accused of stabbing Haroon's sister. Tensions between the two families increased after the murder.

According to police sources, Haroon demanded revenge and put forward a disturbing condition for reconciliation.

He allegedly informed the brothers of the deceased women, Siddiq and Younis, that any hope of a settlement or forgiveness would only be possible if they avenged his sister’s death by killing their own sisters.

In an unexpected twist of events, Siddiq and Younis are accused of conspiring with Haroon to kill their own  blood rather than defending their siblings.

Authorities have confirmed that the murders were not the result of a broader tribal or group conflict, but rather a calculated and shocking act of mutual agreement between the involved parties.

Police are trying to apprehend everyone involved in the horrible act while investigations are still in progress.

It brings up significant problems about the social ideals of honor, revenge, and justice particularly in places where personal grudges are still resolved out of court, sometimes with tragic consequences.
