Pakistan have announced the names of the players included in their 16-member squad for an upcoming three-match One Day International series against Australia, with Shaheen Shah Afridi named as captain.
Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan and Sufyan Muqeem all return to the national side for the series.
Salman Ali Agha will serve as vice-captain, while Ahmad Daniyal, Irfat Minhas and Rohail Nazir earn call-ups to the ODI squad for the first time.
Mohammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir have been included as wicketkeeper-batters. Usman Khan misses out due to illness, while Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub continue their rehabilitation from injuries.
Faheem Ashraf, Faisal Akram, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Rizwan, Wasim Junior and Saad Masood have all been dropped from the squad.
