In 2012, The New York Post described Spicer's opinion on her relationship with Tyson as “like a moth to a flame.” According to reports, Spicer met Tyson at a boxing match when he was just 18 years old. It was around the same time his father took him to the event. They eventually started dating five years later.
“We would separate emotionally so I could work. However, then we would get back together. He's the only man I have been able to fall back in love with on countless occasions,” she stated. “I genuinely never believed I could escape him, and believe me, I would, but it just so happens that I never could.”
When Did Mike Tyson and Lakiha Spicer Marry?
According to the reports, the wedding occurred on June 6, 2009. The couple married on this date without informing anyone else. Tyson and Spicer are said to have renewed their vows on what was supposed to be a joint birthday party for the couple around mid-June 2011.
