Shemar Moore on Fatherhood at 52: 'It Saved My Life'

Shemar Moore is an extremely dedicated dad to a daughter. The Criminal Minds actor spoke with utmost pride concerning the birth of his female child, Frankie Dizon Moore. She is aged two. He spoke about his daughter in an interview with Jennifer Hudson concerning their show titled ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’. Shemar Moore stated, “Frankie is the miraculous gift that gave him a purpose in this life." His affectionate reference to his partner, Jisiree Dizon, further spiced up the conversation.

Moore went through severe emotional distress following the death of his mother, ‘Marylin.’ It also robs the opportunity for self-identity after losing a loved one. He mentioned the ordeal in a past episode of ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’

To Shemar Moore, she was everything and someone who lit a spark in him to make something out of himself. After her death, destruction is incurable. From his perspective, this is how he placed it.

At times, the swirly feeling of, “So what now? Am I supposed to find the reasons to exist?" gets suffocating. Then, sometimes, life brings about miracles. A baby comes and proves that it is not over until Jackie Moore’s remains are gone.

The S.W.A.T. star also informed ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’s audience that he and Jesiree decided to love each other completely. It would make their child and shattered matrimony issues of self-doubt and failure. Honestly, it wasn’t the easiest transition in romantic times. One could say it took two or more tries until both sides became resentful.

Shemar Moore Responds to Baby No. 2 Question

Shemar Moore is gently dismissing the idea of expanding his family. The Criminal Minds star disclosed that he does not wish to have another child with his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, who is already the mother of two-year-old Frankie. 

“This is real life. I’m going to keep it 100,” stated Shemar in his interview for the Jennifer Hudson show on January 24. “At 54 years, my house, our house is filled.”

The S.W.A.T. star did observe that Frankie is not the only one who makes his home crowded. He has also become a stepfather to Jesiree’s daughter Charlie, aged six, and her son Kaiden, aged eighteen, from previous relationships.
