Ahmed Ali Butt in his recent Instagram story has slammed big international productions for not casting Pakistani actors to play the character of a Pakistani in movies and films. The Punjab Nahi Jaungi actor also criticised the production houses for casting Indian actors instead.

“Why can’t these productions cast original Pakistani actors for such roles? Same goes for films, if you’re making a film and it’s about a Pakistani city, why is it cheated somewhere else?”

He also raised the point of international productions not shooting in real region of Pakistan when they have to portray the country on celluloid.
