Former model Jia Khan has challenged actress and host Fiza Ali’s account of how she met her husband Ejaz Khan, claiming the meeting was not a chance encounter but a planned arrangement.

Fiza, 41, had shared the story of her marriage on her show, saying that she met Ejaz while shopping in the UK when he drove past in his G-Wagon. According to her version, a friend accompanying her admired the car and accepted a lift, and it was during that ride that Ejaz came to open Fiza’s door and asked her to sit in the front, marking their first proper meeting.

Jia, however, told a different story during a recent podcast.

“Now let me clarify the matter about the G-Wagon. We did not randomly stop someone on the road. It was already planned. He told me, ‘You will come in your own car. It’s a long journey, about two hours. I will meet you halfway and pick you up.’ So he came to pick me up in the G-Wagon.”

Jia also disputed the detail about Ejaz opening the door for Fiza, saying Fiza sat in the front seat on her own. “That’s why it hurt me when she later created a different story. She could have just told the truth. It was obvious, and I wouldn’t have minded at all,” she said.

Jia also revealed that Fiza had spoken openly about wanting to remarry during their time together.

“She told me that she wanted to get married again. She said that her two previous marriages had failed. She didn’t share much about her first husband, but she told me a lot about the second one, that he was very abusive and she had to leave him. She was crying a lot in the car and said, ‘I just want to settle in the UK,'” Jia recalled.

Fiza responded through an Instagram statement, denying any close personal relationship with Jia. “The claims being made in reference to Jia are completely false and baseless. First and foremost, I want to make it clear that I do not know her personally, nor have I ever had any personal friendship or close relationship with her. I have not mentioned her name in any of my statements or interviews. If she were truly my friend, I would have referenced her, but that is simply not the case,” she wrote.

She described Jia strictly as a professional contact.

“Jia, who is a UK-based shoot coordinator, was only involved in limited professional coordination for one event and one shoot through Jazbaat Entertainment, and nothing more. The hotel drop after the event was a normal courtesy, which is now being presented in the wrong context. There were also some professional and financial matters at the time that were not properly resolved, which is a separate issue altogether,” Fiza said.

Fiza also questioned the basis on which her personal life was being discussed publicly.

“I want to understand on what grounds this kind of personal and private matter is being raised in the media. Discussing a married life and the personal relationship of two individuals in this manner is neither appropriate nor necessary. Some people and platforms are spreading this kind of content without verification, which is completely irresponsible,” she wrote.

She warned of legal action if the matter continued. “I am a public figure, but sensationalising my personal life in this way is not acceptable. If such false and baseless claims continue to be spread, I reserve the right to use my legal options,” Fiza added.

Following Fiza’s statement, Jia spoke to a reporter and made clear the hurt ran deeper than the marriage story itself.

“The pain is not about her getting married. She is married now and she is happy, that’s fine. But the tears in my eyes are because I am hurt, deeply hurt. This morning she sent me a message saying, ‘You were never my friend, you were just my agent,'” she said.

Jia pushed back firmly on that characterisation.

“I am a top international model. I run my own fashion house and I organise international events. I am not anyone’s agent. I have worked with many celebrities and actresses like Sana Fakhar and others,” she said, adding that she had genuinely considered Fiza a sister. “She used to tell me, ‘You are like my sister, you are my friend, and I will always stay connected with you.’ But after just a few messages, she completely changed.”

She ended on a note of resignation. “I have learned something important in life today, people can be selfish. They come into your life only for their own benefit,” Jia said.
