Senior actress and TV host Nadia Khan has voiced strong criticism of actress Hania Aamir’s efforts to build her career in India, calling her focus on Indian public relations (PR) a waste of time.

Speaking on her talk show Kya Baat Hai, Nadia Khan discussed how some Pakistani actors, including Hania Aamir, are trying to make their way into the Indian entertainment industry.

“I’ve heard Hania Aamir will soon be working in a film with Indian actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh,” Nadia said. “She’s working with PR people in India to create opportunities for herself, but in my opinion, she’s wasting her time.”

Nadia emphasised that such efforts may not yield the results Hania hopes for. “She will not benefit from Indian PR. The time Hania is wasting there could be used more effectively here,” she stated.

Actresses Atiqa Odho and Sadia Imam, who were also present during the discussion, added that Hania isn’t the first Pakistani actress to try this route.

They noted that Pakistani actress Sajal Aly stepped away from Bollywood after doing just one film in India.

Nadia further said, “Hania Aamir should focus on her work in Pakistan instead of trying to break into India through PR. It won’t help her in the long run.”

During the episode, the panel also discussed Fawad Khan’s upcoming Indian film, Abir Gulal, which has already sparked protests in India. Nadia used this as another example to highlight the unstable relationship between the two industries and the challenges Pakistani actors face when trying to work across the border.

Recently, Indian media and social media platforms have also reported that Hania Aamir is expected to appear in a cameo role in Sardar Ji 3 alongside Diljit Dosanjh. However, neither Hania nor Diljit has officially confirmed nor denied this news.
